Comings and Goings

Newly arrived from Christchurch are Barney and Marie Lloyd and family, Jillian, Denis, Simon and Patricia. Barney is the new manager of the Nelson branch of the South British Insurance Company. A keen Rugby football man, he is a former senior coach of both Christchurch and Greymouth Marist teams.

Two more new arrivals are Bill and Elma Ward, of Wellington. Bill was recently appointed manager of the Nelson branch of the A. N. Z. Bank. They have a family of two who are living in other parts of New Zealand. Mr Ward was formerly manager of the Terrace branch of the bank. Both hope to be playing golf shortly.

More new arrivals are David and Marie May, from Ashburton. David has been appointed staff engineer to the Waimea County Council. The children are Brent and Deborah. Mr May was formerly an engineer with the Ashburton County Council. He's a keen mountaineer and both are looking forward to a lot of tramping in the province.

The new accountant at the Bank of New South Wales is Coye Anderson, seen here with his wife, Mary, and children Susan, Catherine and David. Table tennis enthusiasts should recall the names of both Mr and Mrs Anderson. He was a former national trialist and in 1959 she was a New Zealand doubles champion and runner-up in the singles title. Both hope to play table tennis and tennis in Nelson.
