Banked Up
Traffic on Trafalgar Street comes to a temporary halt as this huge mobile crane is gingerly manoeuvred off the site of the building for the Bank of New Zealand. It just managed to clear shops on the other side of the street.
The vault in the new Bank of New Zealand building should be "as safe as a bank" after Terry Clark and Mike Grey have finished with the reinforcing for it. There is a lot more reinforcing to go into the vault yet, we were told.
