Life Saving Contest

Six teams from three secondary schools in the Nelson district competed at the Municipal Pool last month for the rose-bowl of the Nelson branch of the Royal Life Saving Society. This year, for the first time, there were separate awards for boys' and girls' teams. The girls' award was won by Nelson College for Girls A and the boys' by Waimea College, competing for the first time.
