Roving Camera

The traffic problem at the intersection of Haven Road and Halifax Street we spoke about in the last issue of "Photo News" may not be a problem much longer. At the corner, and on Haven Road, the road has been widened considerably and when it is completed, another traffic lane will be laid for vehicles travelling towards the port on Haven Road. Motorists leaving Halifax Street and turning on to Haven Road towards the port will have only right-hand through-traffic on Haven Road to worry about. The effect of the extra lane should be to speed up the flow of traffic at this problem corner.
