Softball Team In Wellington
Although Nelson was beaten, by a Wellington Colts' team at Wellington, recently, it was far from disgraced. Wellington won 6-1, but in the game Nelson out-hit the home side by 5 hits to 3. Wellington's No 2 pitcher, Wishart, was the main thorn in Nelson's side, striking out four of the seven Nelson batters who faced him.
