The Nelson Bridge Club's premises are being renovated extensively. The club bought this fine old house in Nile Street in 1964 and club members converted the interior into club rooms. The alterations are estimated to cost about $7650.

Funny, the things you can pick up here and there. And we're not refering to the girls, but the leveret the girls are paying so much attention to. The girls, Tina Scott and Valerie Gibbs, found the wee fellow while attending go-kart racing recently.

A very sad commentary on Nelson weather for the Saturday evening performance of the Manurewa roller skating team recently. Before the show was cancelled we caught David Bryan, Richard Priest (Motueka) and Bob and Elizabeth Bryan sheltering from the liquid sunshine.
