Pictures From Out Back

From Bob Hepburn, Manutuke, come these two pictures taken last month during a weekend hunting on Tahora Station.

It can be deduced that Tahora's pig population suffered a reverse in some degree. It shows Terry and Mike O'Connor with a boar which fell to Mike's rifle. Beside pigs, the district also has some natural beauties worth looking at.

climbing a howhal tree near the road, shows the water slide on the Wharekopae river. The Rere falls are on the same river, approximately three-quarters of a mile down-river.
