Girls' Life Brigade Activities

At the first Girls' Life Brigade battalion competitions in the Gisborne district, which were held at the St. Aadrew's Church Hall with four companies taking part, the 6th Gisborne Company emerged the, victors. The competitions, which are to be held annually, were judged on aggregate points for drill, singing, and senior and junior relays.
