Orphans' High-Jinks

when members of the Cambridge Orphans' Club made a raid on Gisborne recently, they were intercepted by a party of Gisborne Orphans at the city boundary. Their bus was immediately decorated with large colourful banners bearing suitable slogans, and their president was seized and tied into a chair mounted in the bucket of a front-end loader.

The tractor, also amply adorned with slogans, then lifted the captive president' high in the air, and, taking the bus in tow, proceeded down Gladstone Road to the centre of the city.....much to the consternation of passing motorists.
