Arms And Safety Exhibition

Over 2000 people visited the arms and safety exhibition at the Public Relations Office during the National Safety-with-Firearms Week to see the 500 different types of firearms, valued in the vicinity of £50,000, which were on display.

The exhibition, which was the biggest of its type in the Dominion during the safety week, contained historical arms, swords, military weapons, sporting guns, archery equipment, and a range of ammunition. Included in the programme were daily lectures and films, and a supervised practice shoot.
