Savage Club Ladies' Night

The habitual ability of Gisborne to produce amateur entertainers with talent which would not disgrace the professional stage was again demonstrated in the War Memorial Hall recently when the Gisborne Savage Club held their annual ladies' night. A first-class programme was presented with the accent on comedy of a type which filled the hall with laughter, loud and long, interspersed with musical items of a more serious nature from the club's orchestra.
