Newton King Car Trial

The annual Newton King trial run by, the Gisborne Car Club was held early this month, when 14 cars competed over a 160-mile course.

The winners were Russ Wilcox (driver) with Dick Crosdale as navigator. In second place, close behind, were Marshall Butler and Basil Kendrew, and in third place Hans Kwak and Pat James.
