Unusual Visitor.

New Swimming Baths.

A picture taken at the recent opening of the new swimming baths at Tolaga Bay. Besides providing good facilities for swimming, the baths will also provide a valuable source of water for fire-fighting.

This four generation picture shows Mrs M. F. Priestley, 70 Valley Road, with three generations of descendants : Mrs P. G. Hughes, of 34 Valley Road; Mr Denis Hughes, Wellington; and little Julie Ann Hughes, aged eight weeks.

The Ngatapa School, which celebrated its golden jubilee last weekend. Photographic coverage of the celebrations will appear in the next issue of "Photo News".

This De Havilland Chipmunk trainer plane from the Wellington Aero Club was a recent visitor to Darton Field. It is one of only three such planes in New Zealand, and the design is now out of production.
