Jubilee Dog Trial at Tolaga Bay

There is always plenty of time for social contacts at a dog trial, so that when the Tolaga Bay Dog Trial Club held its 50th anniversary meeting last month, over three days, almost more reminiscences were swapped than calls made to competing dogs. Old-timers, including some who attended and even competed at the first meeting 50 years ago were present to enjoy the familiar scene and to meet old friends.

Winners in Centre and Jubilee events were: A. M. Lincoln's Champ, Centre and Jubilee Long Head; W. Hall's Fleet, Centre Short Head; W. Percy's Fay, Jubilee Short Head; D. A. Sherriff's Boy, Centre and Jubilee Zig-Zag. Huntaway; D. A. Sherriff's Neil, Centre and Jubilee Straight Huntaway.
