Longitudinal streets in sequence from the camera are Reads Quay, Gladstone Road, Childers Road, and Kahutia Street. The cross streets, from left, are Customhouse Street, Lowe Street, Peel Street, Bright Street, and Grey Street. New Government Building, opened last month, is at right, and to the left of Lowe Street, fronting Reads Quay, is an area earmarked for future Government expansion.
