The Height of Fashion

Fashion makes the world go round, it's said, and can you wonder when you see the gorgeous "menniquins" above wearing some of the very latest for beach and street? These stunning creations hit 300 pairs of eyes right between the peepers at the Anglican Women's Association fashion parade in the Parish Hall recently.

Seriously, of course, this quartette was only the comic relief for a wide variety of styles and fabrics presented by eight lovely models in conjunction with Day 'n' Dance Wear. Proceeds from the parade were in aid of the Anglican Youth Centre, the "Fishbowl". The unusual set was designed by the compere, Mr Michael Baker. The parade was received most enthusiastically.

Conclusion of an interesting evening was this final line-up of the models.
