New Y.M. Building
As a result of a recent visit to Wellington, by officers of the Gisborne Y.M.C.A., a Government grant of £2000 has been made towards the new stadium and administrative block to be built in the Childers Road reserve. The buildings are expected to cost about £38,000. The association had previously raised £27,000 for the project, and it is now considered likely that the complete building plan will be put into operation and possibly completed by the end of next year.
