An informal snap of Post Office officials at the recent farewell function for the chief postmaster, Mr H. F. Alen. Retiring after a long and varied Post Office career, including previous terms in the district, and nine years in the inspection division, Mr Alen was the recipient of several gifts, and many eulogistic references.
