Old House Afire

An unoccupied house in Kahutia Street, near Peel Street, caught fire one Saturday morning last month and looked like being a merry blaze until the brigade arrived and with their customary efficiency quelled the flames in short order. The house was used by Nicols Transport for the storage of boxes and cartons.
