The Rev. and Mrs R. Hill, who have taken up residence in Gisborne. Mr Hill is the first minister of the Te Hapara Baptist Church. His previous pastorate was Petone.

Captain A. G. Robinson, well-known on the waterfront prior to the last war as skipper of the tug boat Hippi, recently celebrated his 90th birthday. The captain has seen many changes since he first came to Gisborne in 1890. Out of respect for his age, he was presented with an outsize key, six feet long, which he is holding in this picture.

Mrs R. M. Swannell met her five daughters together for the first time in 20 years at the recent wedding of her grand-daughter, Miss Maureen Higgins, to Mr Peter Anderson.
