In the Snow

To ski on snow, and throw the stuff at each other, is a real novelty for young folk from Gisborne, where it has only snowed once in living memory. So when a bus-load of Youth Hostel members from the city paid a visit to Chateau Tongariro and struck beautiful sunny weather on Mount Ruapehu, they were guaranteed to have a good time.
