Fun At Arts Ball

This year's Arts Ball in the War Memorial Hall was a resounding success. There was a much larger attendance than in previous years, and the organisation was extended to include dramatic as well as ballet groups in the city. The originality and variety of the costumes contributed to the colour and gaiety of the year's brightest night-out.

The St. Swiggins Theatre Group featured Lyle Spence as the unfortunate patient suffering the doubtful attentions of these amateur surgeons and theatre sisters. Esther Allardyce, Gil Tyer, Donald Walker, and Fred Stenner are seen here in action.
