Y.M.C.A. Show

"Vim, Vigour and Vitality" was the title of the annual display by members of the Gisborne and East Coast Y.M.C.A., held on two nights in the Opera House.

A fine and varied exhibition of Y.M.C.A. physical work was presented by the hundreds of young people who took part.

The display was the last to be presented by "Skip" O'Kane, as the Gisborne Y.M.C.A.'s secretary and instructor for the past several years is affectionately known by hundreds, if not thousands, of the city and district's young people.

Mr O'Kane leaves early next year to take up his new appointment as general secretary of the Christ-church Y.M.C.A.

On this page, we illustrate just a few of the activities in which he took part at the display.
