Above is Brenda Gibson's "Bridal Group" in the novelty vegetable section of the recent Rose and Iris Show in the Army Hall. The suave gentleman (what a natty bow tie, and look at that leg—isn't it radishing) is presenting his newly-won wife in her beautiful cabbage crinoline. What a happy occasion, but happiness is never far from tears. Among those present at the wedding was Larry Leek, a rejected suitor. That's poor old Larry in the background there, putting on a brave front.
