Summer Fashions

Capacity houses greeting a parade of summer fashions for 1959 presented last month by Petties on behalf of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers. A wide selection of California cottons, pure silks, suits and frocks, cocktail-dance frocks, coats, swim suits, and lingerie was presented by an attractive bevy of models to suit each figure group. Mrs Pat Stewart was the compere. The modelling was by Mesdames H. D. Chrisp, N. H. Thompson, D. McKenzie, D. Pocock and J. C. Hill, Misses Shona Newton, Pam McAneny, Kate Hegarty, Gail Barker, Adrienne Smith and Robyn Strachan.
