Beautiful Daffodils

Gisborne flower-lovers were provided with a sumptuous feast of beauty when the National Daffodil Society's North Island Show was held here in conjunction with the P.B. Horticultural Society's Daffodil & Spring Flower Show.

Speaking at the opening of the show the National Society's vice-president (Mr Poole, Lower Hutt) extended warm congratulations to the Waimata Valley grower, Mr R. C. A. Tombleson, for the quality and quantity of his exhibits in both shows. Mr Tombleson won the national title for 18 varieties.
