Last issue we had a picture of schoolboys fishing in the Turanganui. This snap shows one of them, Robert Jackson, of 43 Muir Street, with a couple of good kahawai, weighing 4½ lbs and 2½ lbs, which he caught in the river.

The gentleman riding high in this piece of photographic skulduggery is supposed to be a well-known Gisborne hotel licensee. It looks a bit fishy to us. (Picture from H. Windle).

Roger Hurlstone, the dog Mick, and Frank Amor, in front of some of the many opossum tokens they have bagged lately. They have taken up to 60 in one night.

We haven't many details of this picture. The sender is anonymous, but we think it comes from Tangihau Station. Whoever is coming off that horse, he's going to hit the ground hard, that's for sure!

Just dropped in for a drink! A helicopter outside the New Matawhero Hotel looks like that, but actually it arrived by road.
