The Maori Game

Rising to the occasion, the Poverty Bay representatives surprised and delighted their supporters by scoring a 20-l6 win over the touring Maori All Blacks at Rugby Park, Just prior to the Maoris playing the Lions at Auckland.

The Bay players produced a drive which harassed the Maoris all the way, and the backline worked well in both attack and defence.
