Indoor Basketball

Although handicapped by the uncertainties of their tenancy of the Army Hall, indoor basketballers in Gisborne have had a good season, and when "Photo News" called on the last playing night of the year, a full evening of knock-out competition games was in progress, with both men's and women's teams in action throughout.

About a dozen girls' teams were entered for this year's competitions.
