"Whole-Family" Worship

An extension of the Gisborne Baptist Church's pioneer work in providing facilities for worship by the whole family was marked by the opening of the Clare Nursery, an addition to the church facilities designed to care for babies and toddlers of families coming to worship. The new building was largely made possible by a bequest from the late Mr and Mrs S. C. Clare, aided by voluntary work from church members. The nursery is admirably equipped with suitable furniture, toys, and other requirements of the very young.
