One of the lucky few who were in Auckland for the opening of the Harbour Bridge was William Tibble, son of Mr and Mrs J. Tibble, Anaura Station. Bill went up with his father and a friend, M. White, Wharekaka.

Snapped at Toiaga Bay on the occasion of the local dog trials are Mr K. McIntosh, late of Tolaga Bay, now of Lytton Road, Gisborne, and Mr T. Dunlop, of Manga Station, Tolaga Bay. Both were competitors at the first Toiaga Bay Dog Trials in 1910.
