Dogs on Parade

Pomeranians, Poodles, Welsh Corgis, German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, Boxers, Dachshunds, English Setters ...in fact almost every breed of dog one could think of....were on parade at the Midway parking area on a recent Saturday afternoon when the Poverty Bay Kennel Club held a most successful Ribbon Parade. The judge, Mr E. Goodwin, often had a difficult task separating the place-winners from the rest. An interesting obedience demonstration was staged by the club's instructor, Mrs J. Nicholls.
