Warm tributes were paid at the 1959 district R.S.A. conference to the work of the president, Mr A. H. Barwick, who was retiring after six years in office. The period concerned has seen very great advances in the work and facilities of the R.S.A., and speakers said that a great deal of the progress recorded was due to Mr Barwick's "unquenchable enthusiasm and energy". Mr Barwick is pictured.
