Feline Aristocrats

Cat-lovers in their hundreds turned out for the Gisborne Cat Club's third annual show in the War Memorial Hall, to enjoy and admire the district's top feline talent competing for honours with favoured importations from other parts of the country. Championship cats are illustrated.

Hastings, Hamilton and Putaruru shared top honours with Gisborne cats. The champion of champions award went to Miss A. Holme's Illawara Little Laurie, from Hastings.

The tables were turned later at the Hastings Show, when Mrs F. A. Herkt's Lindisfarne Symonetta from Gisborne took the premier awards there.
