St. John Ambulance Members Inspected

Members of the St. John Ambulance organisation in Gisborne--the men and women who voluntarily place their time and experience at the service of the community—were "on parade" one evening last month for their annual inspection.

The inspection officers were Commissioner H. Barden, of Hastings, and Serving Sister Mrs Yeo, of Taradale.

They congratulated the Gisborne personnel on their smart appearance, and told how in Napier and Hastings the ranks of St. John have grown apace in recent months.
