Rugger Game of the Year

When the football season finished at Rugby Park on Oct. 5, the thousands of spectators who saw Poverty Bay's young representative team mixing it on even terms with a starstudded Centurions team left the ground with one dominant thought in mind.

It was that this young, fast, fit and able team should go a long way if it can be held together for another season or two.
