Wedding Bells

Vincent--Mullan. At St. Mary's Church, Shona Veronica Mullan, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs B. P. Mullan, 7 Maki Street, to Gordon Leslie Vincent, younger son of Mr J. P. Vincent, Palmerston South, and the late Mrs Vincent. The attendants, left to right, are the best man, Mr Bill Kerslake, Wanganui, the chief bridesmaid, Miss Teresa Mullan, sister of the bride, Mr Ray Greer, Invercargill, and Mrs Gerald Oman, Russell Street. The flower girl is Pamela Hodge, Wellington. Future home, Wellington, where the groom is an industrial chemist, and the bride was a kindergarten director.

Williams-Busby. At Holy Trinity Church, Elizabeth Anne, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs James Busby, of Mangatarata, Tokomaru Bay, to Adrian Herbert, second son of Mr and Mrs D. W. W. Williams, of Ruangarehu, Tokomaru Bay. The five bridesmaids were Misses Mary Morris and Nola Kennedy, the bride's two sisters, Misses Mary and Rachel Busby, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Peggy Williams. The best man was Mr P. Williams, and the groomsmen were Messrs John Rouse, Ralph and Martin Williams, and E. Ford. The bridegroom is descended from William Williams, first Bishop of the Waiapu diocese, and the bride from James Busby, who was first British Resident in New Zealand.
