The Gisborne Photo News

Our apologies...

Our apologies to those readers of "Photo News" who were unable to purchase copies of our last issue, which sold out in a few days.

Although we keep printing more and more copies, the demand in the last few months has been greater than anticipated. We expect that a temporary shortage of printing paper will end soon with new shipments, and for this issue we have increased the number printed by a further 300 copies. We trust that this will be enough to meet the demand for this issue.

Next year, "Photo News" will be changing to a matt-surface offset paper of high quality. We have also made improvements to our processing system which are demonstrated in some of the pages of this issue, notably on the cover, which is reproduced so exactly from the original picture that it is difficult to see any difference in them. The aim, of course, is to provide our many readers in both Gisborne and New Plymouth with the best pictures that our staff and plant can produce.
