Gisborne's New War Memorial Building

Gisborne's handsome new war memorial building, situated at the corner of Childers Road and Bright Street, is now ready for dedication. It will provide members of the Returned Services Association with commodious new quarters, including a lounge room, billiards room, supper room, women's lounge, offices, and kitchen. It will also provide the community with a fine new hall, suitable for concerts, stage presentations, balls, and similar functions. Pictures on these pages were taken last weekend, while voluntary workers laboured to complete the fittings and surroundings.
