White Wedding

With 6in. of snow on the ground, it was a white wedding for Anne Bulst, daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Bulst, Matawai. Many guests could not come; for others the journey was a long battle with floods, slips, and snow

But Anne's marriage to Douglas Hope, son of Mr & Mrs W. Hope, of Clive, took place on schedule in spite of the elements.
