The Cheer and Charity Club visited the Memorial Home (for the elderly) recently and distributed sweets to the residents there. The thought was much appreciated and gave much pleasure to the recipients.

Rodney and Diane Oliver, and Hilary, are off to the United States of America where Rodney will take up a doctorate in Veterinary Pathology at the Washington State University. Diane was formerly Diane Richardson, the daughter of Mr and Mrs D. A. Richardson, Motu.

Away to make their home in Germany are Bernardt and Jamesa Fritzsch with baby Pani-Moana, They are travelling, via Hong Kong and London, to Ludwigsburg where Bernie's parents reside. While in Gisborne Bernie worked for Te Rau Press. Jamie is the grand-daughter of Mrs G. Marino, and the late Ra Marino.
