Outstanding Success

Once again the McGiashen Swimming Club "Bride of the Year" contest was an outstanding success. A capacity crowd filled the Archery Club Hall to enjoy the parade of gowns and the supper and dancing later.

Gayle Judd (nee Thorstensen) won the contest and she was presented with her flowers, prize tokens and sash by last year's winner Jocelyn Carter (left). At right is Gayle's proud husband Merv Judd.

Winner of the Wedding Gown of the Year Award is Janice Thomas who also came 5th in the contest.

Second place in the contest was won by Maree Tocker (nee Sharp).

Taking third place is Sue Ingoe (nee Tocker).
