Riding Rosettes

A very successful riding holiday was once again conducted by the Riding Club For The Disabled during the school holidays. The eleven riders were presented with their green rosettes by the Mayoress, Mrs H. H. Barker, at the completion of the holiday course.

On their horses are, from left, Puru, Jennifer, Eve and William. In front are Mrs Barker, instructor John Buchanan, Riding club chairman Dr Vera Davidson, and helpers Wayne Fouhy, Joanne Buchanan, Rosemary Casey, Auriette Casey, Geoffrey Gardner, Kim Gordon and Gina Fermor.

Also on their horses are Darren, Ronald and Terry while their helpers are Karen Casey, Tracey Pritchard, Donna O'Sullivan and Jan Morley.

The other four riders awarded rosettes are Reg, Carol, Faiola and Ngawai. Helping them are Louise Blane, Carolyn Aitken, Chris McFadyen and Patricia Walters.
