Rotoract Rangings

Rotaract interests range far and wide and several projects have been undertaken with enthusiasm. Members visited the children's ward at Cook. Hospital recently brightening a little the stay of the patients. Stories were read, along with general visiting, and then ice-creams were given out to the youngsters.

The Rotaract Careers Day project was a great success. Pupils from Waikohu College were taken, individually, to employment places of their choice thus gaining some idea of what their future job choice could entail.

Project convener Ray Weir greets the students on arrival. The whole club entertained the residents of Te Wiremu House with afternoon tea, sketches and a sing-song on August 30 and this was very much enjoyed by all concerned.
