A Partridge Pre-Eminent

The honour of being Best Bird In Show at this year's Poverty Bay Poultry, Pigeon and Cage Bird Association's annual show went to a partridge hen belonging to Mr "Kingi" Mullins of Palmerston North. Mr Mullins is a regular exhibitor at the show and has had numerous successes on previous occasions. Entries in this year's event approached record levels.
