Worth $900

First prize is worth $390 (with other prizes making a total of $900) in this years McGlashen Swimming Club Bride Of The Year Contest. Also included is a very special prize for the Wedding Gown of the Year. Entries (phone Mrs Kay, 88746 – evenings) close on August 15, the final night being held on September 2 in the Archery Club Hall.

James Barbour, only son of Mr and Mrs J. Barbour, 57 Menin Road, Onekawa, Napier, and formerly of Gisborne has graduated B.A. in History at the University of Canterbury. This year James is studying for his M.A. in History.
