A Trip To The Stars

Robin Mangos has come to Gisborne, from Christchurch, to manage Stars Travel (formerly Ellmers and Skeet) while Rodger Pilbrow, after seven years as manager here, has gone to Hastings to open new branches of the company in Hawke's Bay.

Highest Award

Mr G. J. (Bill) Graham, 119 Stout Street, was presented with the P.O.W. Merit Award and Badge at a function at the R.S.A. Club Rooms recently. The award is the highest given to any member of the Ex-Prisoner-Of-War Association. The award was presented to Mr Graham for his long and outstanding services to the association and in particular for his remarkable 28 years service as treasurer.
