New Executive

At a club social gathering the Turanga Lions Club officers for the 1975-76 year were installed by past district governor Ian Ross-Taylor of Otaki. Mr Ross-Taylor was the district governor who conducted the club's charter ceremony five years ago.

A Gisborne resident who received the B.E.M. in the Queen's Birthday Honours List is Mr Wilfred Kohn, Kelvin Street. Mr Kohn, who was honoured for his services to music, and the community, is pictured with his wife Norma.
