More Than 500 Birds

More than 500 birds were entered in this year's Poverty Bay Budgerigar and Cage Bird Society's annual show held on July 27 and 28. The St John Ambulance Hall was full of the sound of muttering budgies and whistling canaries as the show progressed over the two days. Entrants came from nearly all parts of the North Island for the event.
