Expert Speakers

The Gisborne Rotary Club's High Schools' Oratory Contest (for boys) was held at the club's tea-meeting of May 26. The three candidates (from Edmund Campion College, Boys High School and Lytton High School) were most impressive in their delivery and content, and marks in the contest were close.

The subject was "The New Zealand Superannuation Scheme And Its Future Effects," and the winner was Mark Robinson.
